Arina Arata (formerly Arina Hashimoto) plays a colleague you joined the company with. MOODYZ.

She stayed late with you, the last train went, and you end up invited back to hers.

You have a girlfriend. She knows that, and comes on to you anyway — that’s the title. I opened it because you’re the one doing the cheating rather than the one being cheated on.

▶ Missing the Last Train at the Office

The only stretch with sustained dialogue.

“You alright? Still working?” “When’s it due?” “That’s cutting it fine, isn’t it.” It comes at you from the next desk. She gets as far as “want me to help?”

Then “look at the time”, “have you called a taxi?”, and “hang on, are you skint?” and it turns into a conversation about your wallet. Every bit of the inviting is hers. “Mine’s close by, though.” “Come and drink till the first train?”

An opening where you don’t have to do anything is my preference, so this suited me.

▶ Drinking in Her Loungewear, Talking About My Girlfriend

At hers she’s changed into pale blue satin loungewear. She sits on the floor. You’re on the floor too, so your legs in black trousers are in the near foreground throughout.

It starts with “cheers”, and goes straight to your girlfriend. “She’s got you on a budget, has she?” “That’s rough.”

Then: “If it were me, though.” “I’d treat you better than that.” The way she says it is cheating. She isn’t having a go at you, so there’s nothing to push back against.

▶ She Opens My Creased Shirt

This might be the best part.

“Do you iron this yourself?” she asks — while running her fingers over the creases in the shirt you’re wearing.

“Your girlfriend doesn’t do it, does she.” “I’d do it for you every day.” Still touching the same crease, that same hand starts opening the front of your shirt.

Line the frames up either side and you can see she takes about a second and a half spreading it open. She never undoes a button. The fact that what she’s talking about and what her hands are doing are the same thing is filthy.

▶ Blowjob on the Floor

She lays you back on the rug and runs it from above.

“You’re twitching like mad.” “Do you like it that much?” Her voice is close.

The location moves to the bathroom. Her hair is tied up, so she reads differently to how she did in the room.

It’s cramped, so the distance shortens. Wet skin changes how it reads too.

She goes down on you again in the bath. The knot of her tied-up hair is right there, and that’s filthy.

▶ Missionary With Fingers Interlaced

Moving to the bed. This part runs long.

She takes your hands and laces the fingers one by one. Both hands are pinned, so there’s nothing you need to do. This shape was the best of it.

There’s a section with her back turned. Only her face comes round.

Once she’s back round, her face is close. Her eyes stay open, which is the good bit.

She stays on top after that too. Her face is close and that alone did it for me. A lot.

▶ VR and Immersion

The position of her voice moves left and right. Being spoken to across the desk and being spoken to close to your ear once you’re on the floor are completely different. That gap is filthy. Use earphones or headphones.

The talking stops once you’re back at hers, and after that it’s almost entirely sounds. There’s a fair amount of silence too. Opinions will differ, but I prefer titles that don’t over-talk.

The distance is on the close side without ever fully closing. There are places where I’d have wanted another step in.

Floor, bath, bed — three location changes, so it never feels like the same shot repeating.

It’s not for you if you want the tension of an affair. Nothing like a phone ringing ever happens. Go in expecting something closer to romance.

▶ Verdict

This was good. I’ve watched a few Arina Arata titles and this is the one that got me there fastest.

The shirt section is the best of it. “I’d do it for you every day” — and then she opens that same shirt. Having the logic line up is filthy.

If I had a complaint it’s the distance; another step in would have helped. Her face carries it regardless.

If a new one lands, I’ll be watching it without checking what’s in it.
