The sound moves left and right. There are moments where she whispers right beside your ear, and the position follows when you turn your head. That part is excellent.

The 8K earns its place. Rei Kamiki spends a lot of the title in extreme close-up, and it wouldn’t hold at a lower resolution.

▶ Verdict

This was good. I’d stayed away from three-girl titles and this one brought me back. On finish count alone it’s the best VR I’ve watched this year.
